And The Gentiles Shall Come To Thy LightНамуна
For We Are His Workmanship.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “workmanship” is phainō (G4161) which means “that which has been made.” You were made by God. You were formed by the Hand of God. You were crafted by God to reflect His Glory in the Earth. The gifts that He’s invested in you were planted to give Him Glory. When you surrender your gifts, talents, and abilities to God, He will lead and direct your path.
David declared in Psalms 18:34 (KJV), “He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.” David was skilled, gifted, talented, and anointed — but yet he surrendered his gifts to God. Notice what David declared: “He teacheth my hands to war.” David understood that God is the One who teaches. God taught David to war. David knew that God gave him the ability to war. Even though he was gifted and talented, David knew that his strength came from God. Through David, God was glorified. Let God be glorified through you.
It’s time to produce. It’s time to build what God has assigned you to build. Choose to reflect God’s Light through the work of your hands. Choose to reflect God’s Light through your obedience. Choose to reflect God’s Light through your faith, action, and works. “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:20 (KJV). James 2:20 (AMPC) declares, “Are you willing to be shown [proof], you foolish (unproductive, spiritually deficient) fellow, that faith apart from [good] works is inactive and ineffective and worthless?”
It’s time to let your light shine. Let God shine His Light through you. Surrender your gifts, talents, and abilities to God. He is the Source. He is the Gift Giver. Don’t worship your gifts — you were created to worship God through your gifts. You were created to cast your gifts at his feet. You were created to worship. Revelation 4:10-11 (KJV) declares, “The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Choose to worship Christ.
