The Lord Who Heals YouНамуна
DEAD AT THE ROOT
Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Jesus speaks a word to a fig tree that no one shall eat from it again but when they pass it again at the end of the day, no one comments on any change in it. The Word of God has been spoken to it but you can’t see any physical change yet. Then 24 hours later, they again pass the tree and Peter sees that it has withered away.
Normally a tree dies from the extremities down and while the root is viable, it can still have life. However, Jesus’ word goes to the root and it dies from the root up.
Sickness too has been dealt with at the root by Jesus, even though it may still be visible to the eye. Jesus pulled sickness out by the root and declared ‘it is finished’ along with all that He accomplished for us. As you identify with and see what He has done for you, that spiritual reality starts to manifest physically in your body and the symptoms wither. See that sickness pulled out by the root from your body!
Jesus said to have faith in God. The confidence to believe comes from confidence in God Himself, that His Word carries His power and that the Holy Spirit moves on the Word of God. It’s not a hype or a confidence in who we are or in our own level of faith-it’s faith in God.
Then, Jesus, standing at the Mt of Olives, says in verse 23 to speak to your mountain (not speak about it!). You may not have a word to move a specific mountain but you do have a word that says ‘I am the Lord who heals you’, ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses’, and ‘by whose stripes you were healed’.
When He said, “and does not doubt” it literally means ‘doesn’t differ in his heart to what he says with his mouth’ ie believe what you are speaking! Declare Jesus’ victory to your problem.
You believe that you receive it first, seeing that sickness destroyed at the root; declare it boldly and then over time you will see the symptoms wither away.
About this Plan
Jesus provided healing for us just as much as forgiveness through His finished work of the Cross. God has not made this difficult to receive but a simple faith that focuses on seeing Jesus and what He has already done for you, positions you for the power of God that is enough to heal 'every kind of sickness and every kind of disease'.
