Humbled Намуна
The Lord has raised us as kings and priests. We know very well our functions as kings, the privileges we can enjoy, the benefits and the promises we can count on by the virtue of our roles.
But for such a time as this, the Lord is seeking priests. Those who are willing not only to enjoy the riches but to also be willing to sacrifice themselves for others; to give up on the applause, because nobody will see what they are doing; to lose the sound of their voice because of frequently commanding Satan to release the souls that he has in captivity.
Both of these are part of our assignments, roles, privileges, and responsibilities. We are kings (and many would like to be one), but we are also priests. And what is the function of the priest? Simply said, the priest is the one that stands in the gap between God and men, taking responsibility for the sins of the people.
In Scripture, we have many examples of true priests. We can see that Moses, on many occasions, would go before God to intercede for his people. When the people were hungry, Moses cried out to God. When the people were thirsty, Moses would intercede before God. Every time the Israelites would find themselves in a bind and suffering, Moses would go before the Lord with the people's claims, taking responsibility for them before God.
And likewise, we could mention others like Daniel, Abraham, Deborah, Jeremiah, Joel, Elijah and many more, who did not leave aside their function as priests but placed themselves in the gap, before the Lord, to cry out for others.
God is seeking for brave men and women that are willing to stand before Him, and not just enjoy His blessings!
About this Plan
To win the battles of spiritual warfare we must humble ourselves before God interceding for others.
