Love God Greatly: To Do Justice, To Love Kindness, To Walk Humbly

DAY 15 OF 26

I love how God always has in mind those who may pass unnoticed to us. Only in God's Kingdom do those who have no possibility of success according to the world standards receive a preeminent place at the table. It doesn't matter how small or how weak the remnant of the Jews might be. God will make them strong when Jesus comes back as King and Jerusalem will be, once again, the tower of the flock, the capital city, as it was in the times of David. The Messiah will come to gather His faithful remnant of the Jewish people and will make them strong against the other nations.

Psalm 93 is a beautiful reminder that God's throne has been established and is everlasting (93:2). No matter what happens in our lives, God reigns. Storms will come, floods will try to destroy us, fire will try to consume us. When this happens, we have to remember that God is still God, and that He is sitting at the throne. I don‘t know what your battle is today, but God will give you the courage you need to fight! Remember that you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).

Dear Lord, when life gets hard, help me remember that You reign in majesty and nothing is out of Your control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

Love God Greatly: To Do Justice, To Love Kindness, To Walk Humbly

We are surrounded by injustice and pain. We see it not only in our world but also in our own lives and it can be disheartening and overwhelming. But we are not without hope. This is what Micah is all about. He is not afraid to get in our face about some hard topics like sin and judgement.
