God Is ... Through Matthew

DAY 14 OF 28

God is . . . Miraculous

That evening the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.” But Jesus said, “That isn’t necessary—you feed them.” “But we have only five loaves of bread and two fish!” they answered. Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people. Matthew 14:15-17, 19 NLT

Our God is the God of miracles. Even today He is willing and able to reveal Himself through miracles. He wants to take your feelings of inadequacy, your unbelief, your burdens, your sickness and turn them into something extraordinary.

2 Corinthians 1:20 teaches the answers to God’s promises are always “yes” and “amen.” Lean on Him and learn to trust Him completely. Oh, how He loves You!

What miracles do you need to trust God with?

Prayer:

Father, help me to trust the small things as well as the big things to Your care. I don’t just want to believe; I want to expect miracles in my everyday life because You are that good! Amen in Jesus’ name.
