Praying For Strength

DAY 3 OF 6

DAY THREE: Go Through the Doors

We are not to muscle our way through our Christian life. Our inner strength will get us nowhere! The Christian life is lived through the power of Christ.

God’s glory can be found by praying and believing. Only His power can achieve the miraculous. We’ve been robbed in this church age because we have moved away from the miraculous into the natural. In many churches and ministries today, marketing gurus, human intellect, and business acumen have seemed to replace God’s power and direction.

If you believe in this or that truth and put your hand to the plow, you will change. It’s all in the natural. And not surprisingly there is no real transformation and no real open door of a supernatural God. God’s open doors are always miraculous, and it requires prayer and faith to go through them.

There is a time when belief must be translated into action. If you believe, even simply, then you must get up and go through the doors God sets before you!

God’s revelation to John went on to say, “I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you” (Rev. 3:9, NIV).

I believe the Lord is saying, in so many words, “I will do something in your life so profound that game players, those who are not genuine with the things of God, will stand aghast at what I am able to do through you.” In other words, when you walk through God’s open doors, you will have a testimony, and that testimony of what God has done in your life is so powerful that it will make unbelievers want to know your God!
