7 Days Of Finding Rest

DAY 7 OF 7

It’s a promise: you will find rest!

Today, we’ve reached the end of our week about finding rest, based on a study of Matthew 11:28-29. Receive this new encouragement for you today…

Jesus says in His Word, ““Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”” (see Matthew 11:28-29)

It’s a promise: you will find rest. No matter what burdens weigh upon you or the battles raging inside of you...God was made man to carry our weaknesses. There is no human problem that cannot be solved because God Himself became man.

Rest has three dimensions. It must be found:

  • In you: your worries no longer have power over you, your choices, or your attitude.
  • With you: you aren’t perfect and can’t carry everything by yourself: God is there to take the reins and guide you, one step at a time.
  • For you: once you know the peace that comes from on high, you can more comfortably navigate toward relationships and situations that are in agreement with this peace.

What have you taken away from this week of exploring divine rest together? I invite you to write down everything the Lord has revealed to you these past 7 days and share it with me here, on this page. Remember...He is in control of it all!

Thanks for existing!
