Daily New Testament - Quarter 4Намуна
Paul’s final words strongly urge Timothy to continue to work hard at spreading the message of Jesus. He wants Timothy to take the risk of visiting him. Given Paul’s situation, he has few friends left.
It would be easy in Paul’s situation to be depressed. He is about to die and feels very much alone. Instead, he encourages others. He is willing to die for the message of Jesus and wants Timothy to have the same level of dedication. Will your final words be ones of complaint or encouragement?
