God's Gift

DAY 4 OF 9

God’s Gift gives me His presence.

In the Old Testament, people saw God appear in many ways, like a pillar of fire, a pillar of cloud, and a burning bush. But the whole time, God’s people were waiting to see God’s promise come true — God’s promise to send His Son as a gift to all of us. He would be born in Bethlehem, and become Immanuel, which means God is with us. And God’s promise came true! Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He was God living on Earth! Now, God’s presence lives INSIDE of us when we believe Jesus is God’s Son, ask Him to forgive our sins, and choose to follow Him!

Tell Someone: Which promise did you read today that surprised you the most?

About this Plan

God's Gift

God’s greatest gift is His Son, Jesus. When you believe that, God has even more gifts ready for you to open. Let’s find out about a few of them together! For Parents: Your child will have a deeper understanding of each day’s reading and questions if you complete this plan with them. This plan includes several games to play for verse memorization. You may want to supervise use of materials.
