God’s Goodness
Whether it comes to blessing a meal and celebrating all God has done for us, or remembering a miracle, we need to continually remind ourselves that God is good and that He does good. For the last day of this devotional, I have ten verses for you to say out loud and to thank God for His goodness. Be encouraged today!
Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Psalm 31:19 Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.
Psalm 119:68 You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Psalm 27:13 I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!
Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.
Psalm 86:5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
