DAY 2 OF 3

Love Is Unconditional

I grew up in a single parent household and my mother worked several jobs to take care of myself and my sister. I was in trouble often, in detention or suspended for fighting, then I got expelled for extortion. I was taken to a juvenile court to speak with a counselor-as to scare me. The counselor recommended that I get placed in a youth group that worked with “troubled” teens. Our group met weekly, and there was improvement in my attitude and behaviour, somewhat, but I still felt alone. As I started to accept rejection, my mom loved me unconditionally.

The unconditional love my mother displayed, excited me to learn more about the God she served and His love. As ambassadors and representatives of the Kingdom, it is our job to extend God’s love and grace to all, unconditionally. .

To be light, we must shine for all and at all times. It’s so important to understand that the coworker, in the cubicle next to us (that you don’t really like), is fighting behind the scenes just to show up to work with a smile on their face, and we may be the only ray of Light that shines on them all day. Nothing should motivate a believer more than to reflect Christ in our living more than our sayings.

Unconditional love is limitless, it’s human standard to see love through dirty lenses full of hurt, rejection, and unforgiveness. Hurt people, hurt people. The love of God reaches the heavens and its faithfulness to the clouds, to love how God loves we must spend time in His presence.

About this Plan

#Love

Love is a decision and a requirement of discipleship. Before the foundation of the World, God loved. God concluded that love will last forever, a gift accessible to all. Love is unusual; greater than our talents, possessing the capacity to forgive, influence culture, be disciplined and committed. Love is not a feeling or a hashtag. Instead, love is power and love is influential. This three-day plan is all about love.
