Have you ever raced someone before? Normally a race begins with someone saying something like, “Ready, Set, GO!” That word go is the trigger for the race to start. When we talk about God's will, God is telling us to take action and GO.

Thought:

Imagine it: Jesus had just risen from the dead. He was crucified, laid in a tomb, lifeless for three days. Then, He’s back! What does He do? He lays out a plan for His disciples. If I was Jesus, and had just come back to life, I would probably want to relax for a second, sit and watch some TV, and maybe eat some Chick-Fil-A. But not Jesus. Instead, Jesus gives the disciples a plan to follow. 

The plan He gives them is the same plan He has for our lives. In verse 19, Jesus says, “GO and make disciples of all the nations.” God’s will for our lives is to GO and make more followers, students and disciples for God. God has given us the instruction on what His overall will is for our lives. It’s now on us if we make the choice to GO and do it!

Challenge:

1. HIS WILL! Are you doing God’s will? Are you actively GOing?
2. NEXT STEP! What’s the next step you can take to accomplish God’s will for you to GO?
3. PRAY! Lets pray… “Father God, thank you for who you are and what you are doing in my life. I pray that you open doors in my life that will allow me to live out your will. Help me to GO to the people that You have placed in my life. Thank You for the opportunities that You are giving me to GO!”
