Gods Will for You

Have you dressed warm enough?

Have you ever questioned whether what you desire and wish for aligns with God's will and His desires? We do it far too infrequently and fail to realize how often we find ourselves up against a wall in life because of it. Let's tear this wall down together. It will be challenging, but it's worth it! And today, let's start with a dose of "more faith." Let's go!

Again, it is that time of year when you're not sure if you've dressed warmly enough! Is a sweater enough? Do I need a jacket? Should I grab a scarf?

And somehow, we always end up underdressed. Then suddenly, we're feeling unwell the next day, and we think to ourselves, "Ah, I should have worn the jacket after all. I knew it."

I’m sure you’ve done that too, haven’t you?

So, are you bundled up well enough today? And I don't mean your clothes. Do you have enough faith packed in for today? Or are you about to head out, even though you're under-packed on faith?

Then I urge you to reach for more faith so that when you come home tonight, feeling hurt and disappointed, and collapse onto the couch, you won't think, "I should have reached for more."

How do I pack in more faith?

Romans 10:17 tells us:

"So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17 ESV)

How you hear more from Jesus is up to you. First and foremost is your intimacy with Him. Prayer. Reading His Word. Because you can hear Him through His Word!

And nowadays, there are endless ways to hear even more from Him! You can hear good things through sermons on YouTube, worship music, and even social media! The question is: where are you listening?

Every second of your life, you face the choice: do I want to hear more from Him, or do I just hear what others are hearing right now? You have your own choice. So, you don't have to choose what others choose.

Today, I encourage you to choose "more faith" so you won't be tortured by "Oh if only I had..."

Because God sees you. And loves you.

You are a miracle!

Déborah
