By Design
When an artist creates, they do it with intention. No great artwork was created without the artist choosing to do so. Michelangelo didn’t accidentally paint the Sistine Chapel’s ceiling one day. In fact, it took him our years to paint the frescoes that cover over 12,000 square feet. Great planning, sketching, and designing occurred before any paint was laid. In no way did Michaelangelo accidentally climb the scaffolding with a paintbrush in his hand to slap some paint on the plaster, and voila, the creation of Adam artwork appeared. No, no, no. There was absolute intention in the artist’s work.
Oh, how wonderful it is to know we have been made with great intention and design by the greatest Artist and Creator. Did you know that every single human who has ever walked on this earth bore unique fingerprints and DNA? Currently, there are over eight billion people on earth– that’s eight billion unique sets of fingerprints and DNA God created that have never before existed. Jesus said in Matthew 10:30 that God knows exactly how many hairs you have on your head. He has a running count of eight billion heads of hair. We truly are His workmanship.
God has intricately woven together our innermost being, including our spirit and soul, emotions and personality, desires and passions, plans and purpose. The entire extent of what makes you uniquely ‘you’ - God designed it all. He knows you better than you know yourself because He created you with great intention and design.
Aligning your heart and mind with God’s intention and purpose for your life sounds like "Amen." It’s saying, "I agree with you, Jesus," even when you don’t feel like you have purpose. Those are the moments when your amen is most powerful. Your purpose is found through the Creator’s intent, which is precise perfection and divine design.
Takeaway challenge: Bring your ‘Amen’ and come into agreement with God today. Let ‘By Design’ strengthen you as you agree with God’s absolute intention to create you uniquely.

The old life has gone, and Genesis marks the new days we now live out. Jesus is our present-day confidence that we have victory over all things. We can now live each day in communion with Christ as originally intended in Eden and bring heaven to earth through God’s power living in us.
