Hello Baby, I Love You! Abc's for Young Momsనమూనా
Z
is for Zephyr!
A zephyr. A gentle breeze. Here one moment and gone the next. The days of your baby's infancy and early childhood will blow by almost as quickly and quietly as a zephyr. They will be here today and gone tomorrow.
You will hear over and over from moms that these days fly by and they will be gone forever-cherish them! It is so easy to say and often so hard to do because of the constant day-in and day-out, moment-by-moment needs of your little one.
As a mother of four children, grandmother of ten, and friend of many moms, I know all too well that the greatest regrets and the most tears have been shed over missing the treasure of these early days.
I am not sharing this to frighten you but to say that I, along with many other moms, would like to have had a better understanding of the treasure of these moments. This said we don't all have to learn the hard way. It is less painful to learn by listening to those who have gone before us. We may have to ask the Lord for ears to hear and for the grace to take what we hear and put it into practice.
May the Lord bless you as you go forward on your adventure. I pray that these little devotions have been an encouragement, comfort, and inspiration to you. I hope that they make you feel loved because you are--you are dearly loved and you are not alone! May God be glorified in you and your children and children's children!
READ the SCRIPTURE
