Day 7 - Turn My Eyes (Part 2)

There's a voice that's calling me, way out on a distant shore

It says if I just take a step, I'll find what I'm asking for

And this world keeps telling me that I'll sink beneath the waves

You're my courage, and you're my faith

Each day of our lives, we encounter truth and lies. There is an unseen battle going on trying to take hold of our hearts. The lies say, “You can’t…,” “You aren’t…,” and “You will never…” These lies can get so loud that we don’t hear that still small voice of Jesus anymore - His voice saying, “I can...,” “I AM,” and “I will...!”

When the enemy tries to tell us we will sink beneath the waves, we know our God is the One who walks on water! Fix your eyes on Jesus, believe the truth, and cast off the lies. You will see the promises of God become a reality in your life!

Dear Lord,

I will not listen to the lies of the enemy anymore. I choose to believe the truth of what your word says. Give me understanding to discern the lies I am currently believing so I can cast them off my heart and receive your truth. Thank you for being my hope and my victory. I turn my eyes to you only.
