Leadership and Your Money: God's Blueprint for Financial Leadership

3 ல் 3 நாள்

When we talk about Biblical leadership qualities, we're not just talking about being a good boss or manager.

We're talking about the qualities that make us good stewards of everything we’ve been entrusted with, including our finances.

So, as we seek to lead financially in our families or other spheres, these leadership qualities mentioned in these verses should be ones we seek to emulate.

Integrity and trustworthiness, as mentioned in Exodus 18:21, are the bedrock. Without them, everything else falls apart.

1 Timothy 3:1-7 calls out self-control and dignity but also specifically calls out the fact that leaders should not be “lovers of money.”

A few chapters later, Paul explains why when he says, “the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil”

So, as leaders in whatever sphere we are in, let’s strive to apply these Biblical instructions and be leaders who honor God in all we do.

Let’s Pray:

Dear Lord,

Help me to embody the leadership qualities You have outlined in Your Word. I ask for Your guidance to be self-controlled and dignified and to not be motivated by love of money, as 1 Timothy 3:1-7 instructs.

Please help me to abhor what is evil and hold fast to what is good so that I may love others with brotherly affection and show honor. I also ask You to guide me to be a good steward of everything that has been entrusted to me, including my finances.

Most importantly, Lord, I strive to honor You in all that I do. Thank You for Your love and guidance.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
