Actively Doing Your Part in the Great CommissionMfano
YOUR WORDS ARE YOUR CREATIVE EMISSARIES (2)
Some people stumble in words and kill themselves in life. You must make up your mind that you are not going to stumble in words again. From James 3:3, God said, “Behold….” Whenever you see “behold” in the scripture, God is about painting some pictures for us. I am going to be showing you those pictures.
Picture 1: “Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body” (Jam. 3:3).
Picture 2: “Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth” (Jam. 3:4).
Anything mobile has 2 mechanisms by which it functions: a control mechanism and a triggering mechanism. From Mark 11:23, the scripture is the triggering mechanism for divine power and your mouth is the control mechanism. You have the power to use your control mechanism either negatively or positively. You can use it to shut down negative winds around you or declare what God has said about your situation. You don’t have to speak about things the way they appear to you. Make up your mind that you are going to turn the ship of your life and destiny in the right direction. YOUR DESTINY IS IN YOUR MOUTH!
Declare what God has said over your assignment, ministry, work, etc., and not what the enemies have said or what the situation is placing before you.
PRAYER: I receive grace not to stumble in words in Jesus’ name. Amen!
