Real Hope: ThanksgivingMfano
What Do You Have?
In my ministry, I’ve had the privilege of travelling to many beautiful places around the world, but I’ve also learnt something about enjoying the place I call home. Before travel was restricted, a few friends and I travelled to the mountains two hours from where I live. We hiked down a valley, camped by a river, swam up a waterfall and enjoyed some stunning views.
Along the way we met a group of Russian tourists who’d travelled from the other side of the world to see what we had. We all marvelled at how beautiful it was. Afterwards I thought: You know, there are people who live just one hour from here who’ve never seen what we’ve seen. There are people who don’t realise what we have in our own backyard.
Sometimes we’re so busy looking at what others have that we don’t realise what we have. Let’s not miss out on the good things God has given us because we are coveting the good things God has given somebody else. Let’s be thankful for what we have and take time to enjoy our own backyards!

Kuhusu Mpango huu
It’s safe to say that this year has not gone according to plan. However, despite all the turmoil and uncertainty, God is still at work. We still have so much to be thankful for. Take time this week to reflect, consider and be thankful for all that God has done this year, all that He has bestowed upon you, and for the people He has surrounded you with.
