God’s Word Will Last Forever - Matthew 24:35

Did you know the Bible is a living book? God’s Word is alive because He is alive! The Bible is full of wisdom that can be applied to any situation in the past, present, and future. It never grows old. When most people think of the Bible, they think of it as an ancient text written by Jews and translated by old English men. However, the Bible is full of inspirational wisdom and guides us in Christian living. It’s the living proof of God’s inspired Word He imparted to many willing writers. Best of all, it’s the living, breathing words from God’s Holy Spirit! The Bible is relevant because it is God's actual voice and can transform our lives. How? By changing our hearts and minds, reforming us from within.

The Bible is alive because although the context stays the same, it applies to our everyday lives; that’s why we call it the living Word! God communicates to us through the Bible. The Bible is relatable to people of all ages. It is relatable to me in the 21st century and will be applicable for generations to come! Throughout the years, change happened, such as empires being conquered, kings and kingdoms being dethroned, and fashion trends fading. While technology is constantly being upgraded, one thing remains the same and stands the test of time: God’s Word! The Israelites were able to apply its wisdom, and so can we. That's the power and authenticity of God’s words through the Bible; it will always last forever.

Creative prompt: Do you have a favorite Bible story or Bible character? What sort of life lessons come to mind when you think about that story or character? Now take that inspiration and create a picture based on the impact of God’s word relating to that Bible character/story.
