 Hearing From God In Worship 

Our church, Hillsong Church, is known as a worshipping church. Who could forget some of the songs that have come out of our church: Might to Save, Cornerstone, Yahweh, One Way, This Is Living, So Will I… and the list just keeps going. The reality is that in all these songs and the ones still unwritten, we have the opportunity to hear from God in worship. Often, all it takes is for us to not let the distractions of life, the good or bad day we’ve had, dictate our posture in worship. We have an opportunity every single day, in the car, on the bus, in our bedrooms, to hear from God in worship. I want to encourage everyone this week to press into God during worship like never before and believe that even amongst all the busyness of life, that God is still able to speak to us during worship.

Prayer: God we thank You that You’re a speaking God! We thank You that even in the act of worship You’re able to speak directly to every person! You’re able to guide us, lead us, instruct us and to that we say “thank You!”. You’re so welcome to speak to every person, including me. Amen.
