You Are Gifted: Devotions From Time of GraceUzorak
The Holy Spirit Likes Me: He explains things to me
Does Christianity seem logical to you? You know, quite a few features of the gospel message are puzzles. Isn’t it the essence of justice that the guilty should be punished and the innocent set free? But God approved that Jesus Christ, the innocent, should be put to a cruel death, while we guilty sinners should be forgiven. How could one man’s actions two thousand years ago be the difference of life or death to me today?
Does any of this make sense to you? It does if the Holy Spirit is helping you understand. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:9,10, “‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him’--but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.”
