There are many exciting things about being a Christian. One of the best is to realize that God himself lives in us and that the Holy Spirit in us is helping us to think and act more in tune with God. Paul tells us, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22,23). Goodness is really “god-ness,” in other words, learning to desire and choose and value what God desires, chooses, and values.
Remember the long-running WWJD merchandise craze? Not a bad attitude to take into your life today. What would Jesus do in my situation?
