Day 2: Recognizing Jesus is God and He is Love
Let's take a moment to really think about who Jesus is. He’s not just someone we talk about or a figure from the past—he is God, and he is love in its purest form. When we truly get a revelation of who Jesus is, it changes everything. It's not just head knowledge—it’s something to experience every day.
It’s very easy to say you love someone, but it’s much more challenging to show that with your actions. When you feel loved—not just through words, but through actions—by a friend, spouse, or loved one, it deepens your relationship with them. That’s what happens when we realize that Jesus doesn’t just talk about love—but shows it. We see it in his life, death, and resurrection—and we experience it every day through the gift of his presence.
Understanding the revelation of Jesus being both God and love leads to change in our lives. As we experience more of his love and presence, we get to reflect on who Jesus is in our lives! His love shapes the way we live and interact with others.
Questions to reflect on:
- In what ways have you experienced God's kindness, goodness, and love in your life? Today, take some time to thank Jesus for these things.
- What are some ways that you may have withheld love from others?
- How does knowing that Jesus is both God and love change your relationship with him and with others?
