The Peaceful Flow
Receive the healing flow of God’s love for you, Beloved. It’s always gushing out of the heart of the One who made you. This love stream is so powerful that if you but realized it fully, you would place yourself beneath the unending flow every moment of every day.
This love doesn’t crash upon you or smash you down. It settles like a stream of silken water that somehow restores and refreshes, even as it cushions and comforts you in its depths. The love of God cannot be plugged or pinched. It is given to you, me, all of us, never running out, always filling, fulfilling, and finding.
Feel the flow of it upon you now, especially now, Beloved. No matter how incapacitated, your body is giving its all in this extreme set of circumstances. The future is on your mind. Let it be one of life and recovery. The love of God, flowing freely, is your greatest accompaniment. Rest peacefully in the active, awing love of God. That love is the greatest healer in existence. That love is always there when you are ready for it.
This peace won’t harm you or take you to a place where the “fight” is gone—indeed not. This peace, past your understanding but always in your favor, is your strength and shield. This peace, a precious and precocious gift, is the confidence that you have placed yourself in the healing hands of a tender and trustworthy God. This God is the One who loves you unconditionally.
Unconditionally!
God loves you, Beloved. It’s true! God really loves you, me, and all that the Creator made.
Breathe in the love.
Let the love of the One who is always with you flow over you as it will. Feel it envelop you, and then let God do what God does best: refresh, restore, enliven, and make whole. Your “Yes” is all that is needed. God will take it from here. What a comfort, a companion, and a loving presence our Creator is for you, me, and all of us. In this healing flow of goodness and grace be loved, Beloved. Be loved.

The Sound of Light offers words of peace to those amid life’s tragic journeys. It is meant to be spoken as a source of God’s comfort for those who are at life’s end, as an encouragement of God’s healing for those in critical condition, and as a renewal of God’s hope and love for those struggling with despair and suicidal thoughts. God created you, loves you, and cherishes you.
