SEXUALITY - the BIBLE DARES to TALK ABOUT IT!Uzorak
Song of Songs 2:7 (NLT): Promise me, O women of Jerusalem, by the gazelles and wild deer, not to awaken love until the time is right.
Hebrews 13:4 (NIV): Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NLT): Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV): Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
"Can a Christian have premarital sex?" Part 1.
This question is, unfortunately, on the minds of many believers. It is vital that each one of us can give a clear answer backed up by conviction from the Holy Spirit.
The devil has two powerful lies at his disposal, which he serves up to every generation that reaches puberty:
- It is impossible for a single person to live without being sexually active.
- Once married, it is perfectly possible to live without sex.
Both statements are equally false, and both lead to sin. Unfortunately, they are often accompanied by much suffering for those who fall into these traps.
Whether you are single because you have never been married before, divorced, separated, widowed, or widowers, the rule given to us by God is the same, and it is clear:
Sexual relations are reserved for couples who have made a covenant together before God.
They are never mentioned outside this bond as being willed by God, whether in the Old or the New Testament.
When these relationships take place outside the protection of marriage, they are de facto outside the divine plan for human beings. They are thus qualified as fornication or adultery (if they take place with a person married to someone else).
Does God not know our physical needs? Is He not the one who placed such desires within us, so why criticize us afterward? If we are two consenting adults, what harm is there?
Sexual needs are perfectly legitimate and healthy! But our loving God created them with a framework to bless and protect us.
His desire is not to deprive us, as the devil would have us believe, but, on the contrary, to make it a continually renewed, pure, and healthy delight. Sexual intimacy serves to bring a husband and wife closer together, to keep them protected.

Sexuality is beautiful when it is lived according to God's standards. How can you talk about sexuality so naturally? Simply because God created sexuality! He created man and woman as sexual beings, and He said it was good! We want to present God's standards, normalize, and look at this gift God has given us through His own eyes.
