Jesus Lifts Your Unbelief
Listen to the Hebrews daily devotional below!
Begin with prayer
Dr. McGee said, “We are living in the day of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the day of grace, when the Spirit of God takes the things of Christ and reveals them to us.” Before you start each lesson, ask the Lord to use it to grow you up in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Invite God to open your eyes and deepen your understanding of His Word through today's passage, Hebrews 3.
Questions
1. What does it tell us about the Christian life that believers who were
so close to the time of Jesus here on earth, and the Apostles who had followed Him, desperately needed encouragement to continue in the faith?
2. How do believers trust God differently today than is seen in the Old Testament?
3. Why do you think the Jewish Christians, who were the original recipients of Hebrews, needed to be reminded that Jesus was superior to Moses?
5. How can trusting and obeying God lead to rest?
4. Take an honest look at your life. Is there anywhere in your thoughts or actions or attitudes that Christ does not have a place of
utmost prominence?
6. What does it say about life here on earth that one of the biggest descriptions of salvation is entering into rest.
7. Rest is so important to the writer of Hebrews because the Old Testament Israelites had failed to enter into their promised rest because of disobedience. Imagine you were able to go back in time and talk to those Israelites who failed to trust God and were forced to wander the desert for 40 years. What do you think they would have to say about their decision?
