Peace of God

DAY 6 OF 7

Peace of God Gives Confidence in God's Plan

God's peace instills unwavering trust in His divine plan, allowing you to surrender your worries and fears, knowing that He orchestrates all things for your ultimate good.

How can the peace of God instill confidence in God's plan?

By cultivating trust and surrender, the peace of God allows individuals to relinquish worries and fears, placing their confidence in the divine plan, leading to a sense of security and peace.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

One notable instance in the Bible where the peace of God instilled confidence in God's plan is the account of...

  • Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Despite the agony and suffering that Jesus endured, he exhibited profound peace and unwavering trust in God's ultimate plan for salvation. This trust is evident in the words He spoke before His crucifixion, accepting God's will and placing His confidence in the Father's divine purpose.
  • The life of the apostle Paul, who, amidst numerous trials and tribulations, demonstrated an unshakeable peace and trust in God's sovereign plan. Despite facing persecution, imprisonment, and various challenges, Paul remained steadfast in his conviction that God was working all things for the good of those who love Him.
