Embracing Your Worth: You Matter

Many of us know deep down that we have a purpose and even have an idea of what it might be. We begin to doubt ourselves when we consider things we are not good at and compare our abilities to what we see in others.

Our past mistakes and failures weigh on us, leaving us feeling unworthy to pursue what is in our hearts. As we grow older and experience physical challenges, we may worry that we have missed our chance to make a real impact. These doubts make us wonder if we truly matter in God’s plan. Have you ever questioned your value?

We are sure to doubt our worth when we keep replaying our past disappointments, focusing on our limitations, and worrying about what other people think, say, or do.

When doubt takes root, it hinders our clarity, and we question whether the path God has for us is truly ours. It chips away at our confidence, causing us to question whether we can do what God is calling us to do. We shy away instead of moving toward deeper discovery and an expression of our purpose.

Consider the words in Psalm 139:13-14 that reveal God was intentional in His unique creation of each one of us. All of His works are wonderful, including you and me! We can praise God for the intricate details of our design, each fashioned with a specific purpose in mind.

Nothing can diminish the worth God instilled in us from the moment of our creation.

• Our past does not define us. God’s grace sets us free. He makes all things new, so there is no doubt that we can grow into all He created us to be.
• Our value is fully in Christ. God loves us unconditionally. His power is always available to help us overcome doubts and obstacles to carry out our purpose.
• We only need God’s approval. God defines our path. Despite our doubts, His direction and plan will always be the best and lead to the most impact and fulfillment.

Each of us has something unique to offer, even if we do not recognize it yet. You can confidently and fully embrace your worth because every detail of who you are matters.
