The Risen Christ - Day 1

We’ve all had days when we drop our toast butter-side down, hit every red light on the way to work, and spill coffee across our keyboard. But what was your worst day ever? Maybe you were betrayed or abused. Did you lose a job or a loved one? Perhaps you’ve sat across the desk from a doctor and received the devastating news.

The disciples understood the feeling of black despair that you wrestled with. Maybe you’re in that place today. Maybe, like the disciples, everything took a nosedive when you least expected it, and now you’re struggling to catch your next breath.

Under that great weight of grief, the disciples found Jesus was walking with them. Whatever your grief or struggle or pain today, know that Jesus is walking with you too. And he is strong enough to carry you through.
