Think Positive Thoughts
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:7-8 (ESV).
We experience peace over anxiety when we intentionally focus our thoughts on positive things. In Philippians 4:8 we are given a list that helps us determine if our thoughts are helpful or not. I have heard someone say we should get rid of stinking thinking. We do this by meditating on promises from the Bible.
Find verses from Bible that speak about your needs, write them down and speak them over your life regularly throughout the day. As you do, you will start to experience more peace and joy in your life.

Prayer: Father God, thank you that you have given me great and precious promises in the Bible. Please help me to focus my thoughts on you and your Word. Please help me to encourage others today. In Jesus name, Amen.
