Tender Mercy

When God reaches down into our lives in tangible ways, how can we help but be awed by the enormity of his mercy? He has not forgotten a single promise he has made, and he will do so much more than we could think to ask him. He consistently meets us in the details of our lives with his love. He knows the deepest secrets of our hearts, and we can trust him to fulfill our greatest longings. He is better than we could anticipate at every turn.

Let us remember his wonderful works of grace and mercy in our lives. Stir up the memories of his goodness. Look into his Word and see his faithfulness so clearly written throughout the pages. He is endlessly good!

Merciful Father, when I begin to wonder where you are, will you reveal yourself again? I know that you are near because you said that you never abandon your lovers. I love you, Lord, and you are my hope.
