Have you ever played a game of tag and secretly teamed up with a friend against the rest of the team? Together, you were trying to get everyone else out except for that one friend, right? It was basically you and your friend against the world. It probably felt like that friend had your back!
What if I told you that the God of the universe had your back the same way that friend did during that game of tag? What if I told you God won’t let anyone come after you no matter what? That sounds awesome, right? Here’s the truth: God is for you and has your back no matter what. God will never leave you. God goes with you into everything. We can walk through everyday life without fear because we have confidence that God is for us and with us.
Today, I challenge you to place this verse somewhere you will see it often, whether on your home screen on your phone or tablet or writing it on a sticky note in your mirror. When you see it, read it out loud as a reminder that God is for you always.
