40 Reasons for Thanksgiving 

REASON #27 For God as My Hope and My Trust

For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth. (Psalms 71:5 ESV)

What can I trust or put my hope in that will never fail me? Nothing is this world can provide such hope … even the best people or the best investments or the best governments. Only the Sovereign King of the Universe can provide complete trust and hope for me. Do I take the time to thank Him for this hope and trust that He provides me? If I do not, am I also one who does not come back to thank Him?
