Letting Go!

DITA 2 NGA 3

Permission to Grow

The need for permission can live deeply rooted in our hearts and minds. We can live full lives and be curators of new and exciting things while seeking validation.

Silencing that little voice in your head that says, “Is it okay to let go?” “Do I have permission to pivot now?“

These are real questions that at times can leave us vulnerable and emotionally drained.

"I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears" Psalm 34:4 NLT

It's okay to feel sad or frustrated; those emotions are totally normal. But don't get caught up in the sadness and forget about the bigger picture. God can be found in our vulnerability and in our search for permission.

In certain ways we are weak, but the Spirit is here to help us. For example, when we don’t know what to pray for, the Spirit prays for us in ways that cannot be put into words (Romans 8:26).

Stay positive and take advantage of the change to explore something new.

"Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame." Psalm 34:5 NIV

Sometimes letting go can be an act of faith that God has something better in store for you if you trust Him. This act of faith can bring more of God into your life, allowing you to access blessings that you never even imagined before.

So, if you’re feeling stuck or trapped in a situation, letting go could be just the change you need.

"We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him.[a] They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose," Romans 8:28 CEV

Pray:

Heavenly Father, thank You for validating and calling me for Your purpose. I ask for continued grace and strength to pursue uncharted territory absent from fear and timidity. I thank You for the Holy Spirit Who guides me even in the winds of change. I trust in Your care. Amen.
