What Is God's Kingdom Like?Shembull
Jesus’ reign is universal
He shall speak peace to the nations; His rule shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth. (Zechariah 9:10)
Jesus is often portrayed as the Son of David. But this does not imply that His reign is limited to the descendants of David, the Israelites/Jews. It is universal. Zechariah says that His rule will be to the ends of the earth; the book of Revelation (among other Bible books) repeatedly says that “all nations” will worship Him.
A little foretaste of this situation was given at Pentecost when the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and addressed people “from every nation under heaven” in their own languages. The good news about Jesus’ Kingdom was not spread in the Jewish language only, but people from all languages were invited to follow Him.
Church history sadly contains several examples where certain people groups were considered inferior or excluded from the church by others. This is absolutely wrong! To God, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a non-Jew, since we are all the same in Christ Jesus, Galatians 3:28 says. He invites people from every nation, social position, and racial background to become citizens of His Kingdom.
Do you like the fact that God’s Kingdom is for everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus?

Jesus invites people into the kingdom of God. This is not an actual physical place. It transcends time and space, which makes it difficult to see what God’s Kingdom exactly is. Let’s read a collection of Bible passages to learn what God’s Kingdom is and how you can inherit it.
