Just Jesus: Answers For LifeShembull
Greatness
There is greatness in you. Your life counts. Your life is important. But if the basis for your self-image comes from the world, you will miss God’s vision of you and for you. Great is knowing that your life counts. Greatness is knowing that someone else’s life counts - that someone else’s life matters and not just your own. Great is self-vision while greatness is God’s vision. God created you with the capacity to perceive the vastness and immensity inside your own heart and others. He has planted eternity in the human heart. The greatness that is in you comes from God. Greatness is not about size but significance in God’s eyes. Your greatness has nothing to do with external appearance or worldly expectation, but rather living out Kingdom principles that build up other people. Everything God does, everything He speaks to you, everything you do and every way you serve is significant. “Little” is wonderful in God’s eyes.
Memory Verse
“...If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.” Mark 9:35.
Declaration Prayer
Lord, I consecrate myself to You, body, soul and spirit. Just as Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do great wonders among you." I am confident of the amazing great wonders You will do. Lord, for the future of the Church, for the future of the gospel, for Your way, and also for my own life, I offer myself without condition, without reservation, into Your hands. Lord I delight to offer myself unto You and am willing to let You have Your full way through me. Thank You that I am made in Your image. I am who You say that I am. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. I adore You as the One who is over all things.

There’s one Person you can count on in life. Jesus is there for you in everything. We want to belong, be loved and know we’re not alone in what we face. The worst part of life isn’t having problems – it’s being alone in the problem. You’re never alone. Jesus is with you always.
