Journey To An Empty TombShembull
The Darkest Hour
Storms are an inevitable part of each of our lives. These storms come in the form of losses at times, and trials or personal failures at other times. With these life storms come a myriad of strong emotions like anger and sadness. Peter faced his darkest hour as he denied his Savior three times in public - but his story did not end there. Jesus came to Peter after his betrayal and forgave him. He then charged him to help others as a demonstration of his love and gratitude for Jesus. Peter, with his humbled heart, grew so much from that experience. Mark Sherwood shares how God showed up for him in his darkest hour, and how He does the same for each of us.

God can get you through any and every circumstance. Like Peter, even your darkest moments are redeemable by God's saving light and love. And as we share with others how God works in our lives, His grace and joy spreads through your community and beyond. Take a moment to reflect on the stance you take on your life storms. How can you view your trials and losses from a new perspective that helps develop your faith? Then move on to share that perspective with others.
