Before the Cross: 31 Days of ServingChikamu
Day 25 – Complain ‘Not’
Once again we see in James just how important our tongue can be. Are we using life giving words or tearing people down? As Christians, if we are complaining about something it shows a lack of trust in God in where He has placed us, what He has given us, and the opportunities that are right in front of us.
Think about it, if Christ died on the Cross for us and we are complaining about things like people, traffic, sports, jobs, or the weather, where are our priorities located then?
We have God. We have eternal life because of Jesus Christ. And how are we going to glorify Him when people look at us and don’t see Christ, but instead see a person complaining about things that don’t really even matter.
Today, where can you praise God instead of complaining to God?
