The Jesus Adventure

ZUVA 6 REMAZUVA 7

There is a fact that escapes many religiously inclined people that Jesus wants His apprentices to be confident in: He came to accomplish the impossible for us, in us, and through us. This threefold truth is essential to know in these last days. We face impossible situations, and Jesus planned for us to succeed through those situations with supernatural resources.

When praying, we always want to remember that God cannot be denied His purposes and will. We seek Him, and we seek His authorized power to do His will. He is working in this world in our times; if we are faithful to Him, we get to be a part of it! He will do as He has promised, in His timing, and for His purposes. This is emphasized in Daniel 4:35 (NIV):

He does as he pleases

with the powers of heaven

and the peoples of the earth.

No one can hold back his hand

or say to him: “What have you done?”

This point is driven home again in Psalm 145:13 (NIV):

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

and your dominion endures through all generations.

The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises

and faithful in all he does.

God has given us the ability to know Him, communicate with Him, and experience fellowship with Him to overcome the evil in the world around us through prayer and worship.

So, what evil, what unbelief, what lies, what bondage are we personally called to defeat in His name?
