3 Money Declarations That Will Make God Your CFOChikamu
Hey friend!
In a world filled with crazy inflation, unemployment, and economic uncertainty, it's easy to feel anxious about our finances. We worry about making ends meet, saving for the future, and providing for our loved ones. But there is something all of us Christians have that the world doesn’t - the power of prayer and Biblical declarations over our lives.
God isn't oblivious to our struggles… especially with our finances. He's right here with us, understanding every little detail of our lives. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus Himself tells us to not worry about what we eat, drink, or wear, "For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." The Creator of the universe is intimately aware of our needs and will add these things to us when we seek Him and His righteousness first.
Not only does God know our needs, but He also promises to meet them. Check out what Paul says in Philippians 4:19: "And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." God's provision isn't limited by earthly constraints.
So, what do we do with this amazing truth? We trust in God's promise to provide! When we do that, we can let go of all that financial anxiety. We can have confidence that God will come through for us, even when things look tough.
Now let’s try declaring this truth over our lives:
"God, I declare that You are my provider. I trust in Your promise to supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I see how You care for birds and for the flowers, so I believe that You will care for me even more."
When we verbally affirm our trust in God, we give ourselves a friendly reminder of His faithfulness and power. We are aligning our hearts with His promises, and let me tell you, that can bring some serious peace and assurance when financial stress comes.
As we keep seeking Him, declaring truth, and relying on His promises, we’ll find our faith growing stronger and our worries shrinking.
To end today’s lesson, here are some practical steps we can take to fully embrace God as our provider every day.
- Make a list of your needs and bring them before God in prayer. He's always ready to listen!
- Meditate on Philippians 4:19 and other verses about God's provision. Maybe even write them down on sticky notes and place them around areas where you’ll see them often!
- Share your financial concerns with a trusted Christian friend or mentor who can pray with you and offer encouragement.
Tomorrow, we will look at Biblical truths of stewardship and declare them over our lives as well!
