How Not to Trust?

How many times have we found ourselves in difficult situations, and suddenly, we have seen the hand of God in our favor? The Word calls blessed everyone who trusts in Him. According to the OED (Oxford English Dictionary), being blessed is to be fortunate. Although we know that everything good or difficult that happens in our lives has nothing to do with luck or coincidences, it is certainly a state due to our mark as Children of God.

A natural child turns to their father in moments of difficulty or fear because he or she knows they have protection and security in him. As children of a GOOD FATHER, we must know that in Him we have this refuge in hard times. We can do nothing to make God love us less or love us more. He loves us, period.

And if we love Him, we must trust blindly in Him. I learned to only trust in Him. Why question Him if, in the end, I would thank Him and understand that His ways were better than mine? How many times have we questioned God about why certain things, thinking that our way was better, and later, we find out that God was delivering us or giving us much better opportunities?

With this in mind, I learned that God knows more and that I accept whatever happens in my life, for He knows more than me. Trust in Him, even if you don't understand. When we know who our God is, we don't need to understand; we need to firmly believe that Jehovah is the one who takes care of us and protects us.

Seek his will in all that you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:6 NLT

Prayer:

Father, you are the God who makes everything possible from nothing—the God who created the universe, the heavens, and the earth. I live because you allow me to live. You count on me, my love, worship, and faith. Allow me to see you in everything I do. Allow me to believe in you even when my eyes see otherwise. Help me to please you through my faith; let doubt not have a part in me because I recognize you as THE ALL-POWERFUL GOD. Today, I reaffirm my faith and trust in you, God of my generation. In you, I am safe, Amen.

Worshipping the King of Heaven

We were created and designed to worship. When God is not the center of our worship, something else will be because that design cannot be invalidated, and we will always have the need to worship something. This plan will teach us to understand that even in everyday life, in difficult or happy moments, God should always be the center of our worship.
