🌟12 Gifts of Christmas🎄✨🎁Chikamu
Welcome to day ten of the 12 Gifts of Christmas! Let's eagerly unwrap the tenth gift and discover what's inside.
Behold, gift number ten is "Salvation." As we reflect on Christmas, our minds travel to the wise men, guided by a star to the newborn King, Jesus Christ. They worshiped the Baby in the manger and presented Him with significant gifts, each carrying profound symbolism.
- The first gift was gold, a tribute fit for a king. It signifies Jesus' royalty as the King of Kings.
- The second gift, frankincense, was an offering of worship by a priest, symbolizing Jesus' deity. He is both a royal high priest and God in the flesh.
- The third gift, myrrh, was a unique ointment used in embalming the dead, representing Jesus' sacrificial death for our sins.
Jesus came on a mission—to live the perfect life we couldn't, to die sacrificially in our place, and to rise on the third day. This gift of salvation is unparalleled. Have you opened the gift of salvation? It's received through faith in Jesus.
If you’re reading this and have already placed your faith in Jesus, pause for a moment and thank God for His precious gift of salvation.
If you’re reading this but you haven’t personally asked Jesus to be your Savior, the Bible assures us that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. If you haven’t yet received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is your day!
If you're willing to confess your sins and place your faith in Christ, let's do it together. Pray this prayer with me:
Prayer of Faith: Lord Jesus, I thank you for coming to earth, living the life I couldn't live. I believe you died on the cross for me and rose on the third day. I place my faith in you alone for salvation. Be my Savior and Lord. Forgive me for all my sins. Take over my life. I choose to follow you. In Jesus' name, amen.
Make a decision? If you prayed that prayer, please let us know. and we'd love to provide more information for your new walk with Jesus. You can find our contact information on day 12.
May the gift of salvation bring you lasting joy and peace this Christmas season as you reflect on the incredible love demonstrated through the birth, death, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
