Identity: Becoming The True You

DAY 1 OF 8

Beloved

When I was young, I was desperate to be loved. Like a begging dog, I went, “Please give me attention! Does anyone see me?”

Because of this, I grabbed on to any guy who took interest in me. I held onto him no matter the cost because I couldn't handle the pain of not being good enough. I dieted. I changed my hair. I dressed to be more appealing. I changed my personality. I did things I shouldn't have. Nothing worked. I could not hold onto a man’s love.

In Ecclesiastes, God says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

God Himself planted my insatiable desire to be deeply loved. Man could not satisfy it because it wasn't his assignment to complete. I mistakenly craved the love of men, but people were not created for my selfish gain! God was! I desperately needed to know God’s Fatherly love!

I am God’s daughter and He loves me! So are you!

You are His Beloved.

He gave His life for you!

His love is perfect!

It casts out all fear!

It’s slow to anger.

He never leaves you!

He delights in you!

Receive his love today.

The fullness of the Father’s love began to make me become loved. Becoming loved allows you to not need anyone to love you back. As you are more rooted in God’s love, you will stop allowing man to fill your love bank because God is LOVE defined. You will begin to live with a fully protected, unbreakable heart because God’s love is your refuge – your perfectly safe hiding place!

Look at yourself in the mirror today saying, “I am loved.”
