Physical and Spiritual Protection for ChildrenChikamu
The Good News for Parents
The Good News is that God has an answer for every need and every fear that would try to overcome us regarding our children. Remember, God’s Word works. The best way to get started is to begin praying over the child before he is even born. I want you to see how to apply these principles to your children and grandchildren regardless of their age. Children have been entrusted to us by God. He wants us to enjoy our family. We are to pray and establish our children's spiritual destiny. It is necessary to not make a negative choice by default simply by failing to do what God is commissioning us to do as Christian parents.
Parents may not realize they are responsible for seeing their children develop a relationship with God. We can’t afford to be complacent in this area. Hosea 4:6 tells us that there are two reasons why we’re destroyed - from lack of knowledge (in this case, that we as parents have a spiritual responsibility to our children) and/or - rejection of that knowledge. A child can overturn the negative decisions of a parent by choosing the right path for themselves. God’s Word tells us to “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” That training is the parent's responsibility.
When the promises appear not to work.
After a while, parents can become disappointed and be tempted to give up. Regardless of how bad the situation seems, we must realize it is not over and determine not to give up and do what God ordains, no matter how long it takes. Eventually, victory will come if we remain obedient to His Word. These promises are from the God of the Universe, a parent’s God-given assurance if he is obedient to do it God’s way and refuses to lay down this promise. Let's take a moment and thank God for His plan for families!
I thank God for my children and the blessing they are to me. I pray that I can become more aware of how to pray for my children to inherit the promises of God and choose to train my children in the ways of the Lord. I love You. Lord.

About this Plan
Concern for our children’s physical and spiritual protection is a fear many parents face. Tragic stories fill our newsfeeds, and we hear stories from well-meaning people wanting to pass on what they heard happened to a child. Christian parents battle another fear that our children or grandchildren might turn away from God. God's Word has an answer. Let's see what wonderful promises God has about raising our children.
