[Wisdom for Kids] Wisdom Has Rewards!Chikamu
Wisdom, Your Friend
Solomon says that wisdom will come into our hearts and delight our souls. That means we will make good choices when we value God’s say in our lives. Then we will experience the joy and good things that come from wise decisions.
Don’t you want to have God’s wisdom as your friend? We are never alone when we have God’s wisdom in our lives. Friends may come and go, but we can always count on God’s wisdom to be there when we most need it.
Sometimes it is hard to make a friend, but wisdom will help you choose the right friends to help you grow. Wisdom also enables you to be a good friend to others. In every choice you make, you can always pray, “God, help me make a wise decision that honors You.”
(Parents/adults–Can you talk to your child about what it is like to be a good friend? Talk to them about the characteristics of a good friend vs. a bad friend.)
Prayer: Dear Jesus, I know I have a friend in You. I receive the wisdom You have for me so I can be a good friend to others. Amen.
