Love Always: 5 Days to Strengthen Your MarriageChikamu
Remaining Holy
Everyone in Christ has a before and an after. There was a time, even if we were very little, before we trusted in Christ and did not know the truth. We did not understand. We lived in ignorance of what was real and what mattered. We followed our desires instead of God’s desire for us. Without Christ in our lives, there was a void we were desperate to fill with anything else, but nothing fit. Nothing could satisfy. Our own human desires were to bring ourselves gratification and relief at any cost, so our lives began and ended with us.
Now that we are in Christ, we have been profoundly changed! We have become heirs of God who strive to obey him because of our heartfelt love and thankfulness. We live for a purpose greater than ourselves.
Lord, we are your children engulfed in love and thankfulness for all you have done. We want to obey you and live purely, so please help us because we know this is your desire too. Thank you for aligning our desires with yours.

Spend time in his presence together.
