Harry S. Truman, 33rd President of the U.S.
For his second swearing-in ceremony in 1949, Harry S. Truman used the same Bible he was sworn in on in 1945, opened to Matthew 5:3-11. He also used a copy of a Gutenberg Bible given to him by the Independence, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, open to the Ten Commandments in Exodus.
