A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY

Let us pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another. ROMANS 14:19 CSB

Appreciation is so life‑giving. We can work so hard that we come to the point of quitting from exhaustion, yet with one word of acknowledgment and praise, a fresh breeze of renewed energy sweeps in and keeps us going. We all need to have our efforts noticed and audibly recognized, even if only on occasion. Saying “I see what you did” and “thank you” are small gestures that reap big rewards of love and peace in any marriage.

Lord, I am so busy most of the time between work and the demands of life that it’s easy for me to neglect to notice the little things my wife does for me and for others. Help me not to get so focused on what hasn’t been done and to be more deliberate about showing appreciation for all the amazing things she has already done. Help me to see even the little things she does as grand. Give me a sensitive heart that notices her selfless actions and the words to thank her for them. I am so thankful for all the different ways she helps me and helps our home run smoothly. Don’t let me take her time and energy for granted. Nudge me to stop and be truly thankful. I want her to know I value and love her more than anyone else besides You. WITH ALL SINCERITY I PRAY. AMEN.

Your wife needs your prayer support to encourage and empower her to be the woman God created her to be and equip her to take on life's daily challenges.
