Dream BIG, but how do you start small?
Let's face it—we've all heard this theme of dreaming big so many times that it may come across as a bit cliché. Perhaps when someone tells you to "dream big," you smile politely but shut the door to the dream in your head and heart. Maybe you're so heartbroken that you actually build a wall between your heart and that dream.
Let me exhort you today…please don't build that wall!
Can I share an amazing truth with you? No closed door or high wall can withstand the love of God and the plans He has for you! When you take that small step of trust and believe God has the truth that will set you free (see John 8:32), He will also give you the power to stop doubting and continue in that dream!
What a powerful promise we're given in 2 Samuel: "'For by You I can run against a troop; by my God I can leap over a wall.'" (2 Samuel 22:30, NKJV)
It's very important for you to hear this today…by trusting in God’s power and leading, you can keep going, even when the walls are high or the doors are closed.
Yaraslova Mahuchikh, is an amazing athlete who recently set the world record and is from Ukraine! :-)
These athletes have a wall to jump over. It doesn't just "happen." With their wall firmly in sight, they take a running start. They start with one small step, and the rest is history!
My friend, you can do this with your dream, too! Keep the wall in view and take a running start…because that's exactly where HIS POWER comes into play. He's saying to you, "With Me, you can easily jump over this wall!"
If you're saying, "Dreaming big isn't for me" because you simply haven't experienced the fulfillment of a dream, then I pray you can learn to trust that God wants you to dream big. That wall can't hurt you when you trust in Him!
The awesome reality about our great God is not that we have to be great—but that He does great things through us!
That's why you shouldn't miss out on dreaming big TODAY!
You're a miracle!
